Azerbaijan, Chile, Iran, Moldova, South Africa, Ukraine, Vietnam and Belarus: There have never been so many foreign guests who have visited Krückemeyer since August 2019.
For several years now, Krückemeyer GmbH has been an example of an innovative family-run business for German medium-sized businesses, and has been a fixed item on the agenda for foreign business delegations visiting Germany at the invitation of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), which has been appointed General Manager. A highlight of each company visit to Wilnsdorf is a tour of the production facilities to see live how customer-specific solutions are manufactured from adhesive tapes and abrasives. Especially since Krückemeyer, as a manufacturer of independent processors, is the only company in its sector in Germany with a clean room for industrial adhesive tape converting. Guests from Hanoi, Kiev and Johannesburg will also be enthusiastic about the workshop "Innovation Management Made by Krückemeyer", in which practical examples will be used to demonstrate how new application solutions are created in cooperation with customers.
The BMWi's manager training programme has been an element of German foreign trade policy since 1997. Under the motto "Fit for Partnership", it prepares entrepreneurs and managers from Asia, Eastern Europe, North Africa and Latin America specifically for business initiation and economic cooperation with German companies - with success for both sides.
Since 1997, more than 13,000 managers from 19 countries have completed the manager training program. They come from companies with foreign trade potential. On average, each group has 20 participants. The success of the programme depends on the right mix of competence transfer and company practice. In interactive and practice-oriented training courses, participants expand their management skills and prepare themselves for business contacts with German companies. They get to know the peculiarities of the German business culture and improve their business appearance as well as their negotiation techniques. The results of the programme are impressive and testify to the high economic benefits - both for the participating German companies and for the companies from the 19 partner countries. The manager training programme thus offers all participating companies access to each other's markets.
